Urban Farm Tour at The Loop at Taikoo Place
Are you looking for some activities that can improve your well-being while at work? Urban farming is your answer!
For the next six months, we will be hosting casual farm engagement activities at one of our managing organic farms - The Loop at Taikoo Place located in Quarry Bay, Hong Kong’s new CBD. Participants are going to learn about the different types of crops we are going to grow during the warm season, prune some herbs, and also harvest some veggies (and bring them home!). This will be a perfect break away from your work and an alternative activity for relaxation during lunchtime.
We are pleased to organise a farm tour at The Loop exclusively for Taikoo Place tenants. This is one good example of an urban oasis where we connect the concept of urban organic agriculture with the theme of sustainability in this interactive area of the Loop at Devon House.
Activities at a glance:
- Learn what to grow in the warm season in Hong Kong
- Prune herbs (such as Rosemary, Thai Basil Mint, Laksa Leaf)
- Partial harvesting veggies (such as Ceylon Spinach, Water Spinach, Amaranth)
